I have a new business card case. With the spread of the Internet, there are fewer opportunities to exchange business cards in person, but I feel it is important to use something I can hold in my hand and be satisfied with. When I hold a new business card case, I feel elated, as if I have made a new start.

Tendency to Stop Using Card Case

With the proliferation of online meetings and e-mail, opportunities to hand out business cards in person are decreasing. With the increased use of electronic business cards and digital communication, business card holders may be used in fewer situations.

However, there are still opportunities to meet face-to-face. Business card exchanges exist because business customs are also present in Japan. Even if business cards are immediately discarded, having a solid business card case will help you present yourself better in these situations.

Something Simple to Use

When choosing a new business card case, we focused on something simple and easy to use. This business card case is from Motherhouse. It features an understated design without the brand logo. The item has a good texture and fits comfortably in your hand, giving you a sense of comfort every time you use it.

Rather than ornate decorations, I sought a material that feels comfortable in the hand and a simple design that can be used for a long time. A business card case with a simple design like this has a subtle yet potent presence, and the impression it gives to the recipient is elegant.

Strength of Story

My choice of this business card case was influenced by watching Ms. Eriko Yamaguchi’s appearance on JOUNETSU—TAIRIKU in 2008. I was young and struggling with the value of my work. Her brand story had more value than just a product, and I wanted to own that product someday.

In the program, Mr. Atif Dewan Rashid says, “…to me, it’s not sustainable. Because when you give something free to people, it also makes them beggars, it was so impressive to me.

In addition, the background music, “Oh, You Are All I Need” by Hotai Club, was very suitable.

I want to make sure that we can continue to do business properly as a mutually beneficial transaction as well.
